BUBBLING POT COMMITTEE MEETING

Thursday 24th September 2009

PRESENT: Sandi, June, Paul, Roz, Pam and Derek.

APOLOGIES:  Carol and Gary.

Reading and signing of last minutes.

The Real Witches Ball (Sat 24/10/09)

Gary has visited the Beacon and confirmed that all is OK to go ahead.

Security will be supplied by the venue (The Beacon).

Any snacks required by guests can be purchased from the pub bar.

Tickets have been distributed between the committee.

Estimates 150-200 people buying tickets.

Raffle

Paul has the raffle tickets. Sandi has plastic cauldron for tickets.

Prizes will be handed out in a 1st, 2nd 3rd  etc order.

Prizes so far. 1st prize. Amazonians (DIY) voucher offering their services for a day.

Donation by Maggie, chalice (BP table), Bottle of wine, Besom, Hip flask.

(Booby prize) Wooden spoon.  Dave the Bard to be approached for donation.

Photographer  

Kevin offered, for a £100 fee photos to sell and a DVD.  After a brief discussion the general consensus was that the Bubbling Pot would lose money.

Pam rang Mike Husband who has offered to take photographs to sell on order with Mike and the BP taking half each of any money taken.

Tarot

June to ask Carol Divine to do readings.

Paul and Roz have decorations.

Suggestion:  Prizes for best and worst Witch

Event is advertised on Pagan underground.

Yule Bazaar (Sat 5/12/09)

Venue: Bancroft Hall. Open 12 - 5pm.  Hall available from 11am.

The event to be advertised by posters forums etc.

Possible stall holders:  Maggie (Pagan goods,  Cat (Wykedly Wicked Cards, T shirts etc), Gary ?, Craig (wands, etc), Alan (Mirrors, etc), Julie & Robert, Hilary (Crystals & jewellery), George B.O.S.) Bubbling Pot table, Vinnie, Kim & Andrea ?

Paul to ring Tom & Diana re stall.

Refreshments

Tea, coffee, chocolate, juices.

Mulled wine and mince pies.

Home made cakes.

Paul to get traders licence.

Business plane submitted 7/9/09 by email.

Suggested stall holders & workshops: Kim & Andrea (both),

Mark Marrington - Drums, Steve Frost - Flutes,  Sean & Liz - Birds.

Other suggestions - Geraldine - Atlantis Book Shop, Anna Franklin, Avalonia Book club, Marion Green, Nick Packham - Runes.

£58 was handed to June - proceeds from B.P. table at the Earthlore Moot on Sun 20/9/09.

June gave Sandi 2 cheques for £30 & £25 to pay for Bancroft Hall the £25 cheque is refundable after the event. Cheques made out to Bancroft meeting place.

MEMO Date for A.G.M. 2010 - around Imbolc.
