Future events

Everyone agrees that a Green Gathering camping weekend would be a good and feasable idea for next summer.
Pam and Derek have made enquiries about the possibility of using a local Scout camping site . This has the capacity for 300 and that would include our speakers, etc.  This looks very feasable indeed as it has all facilities including toilets, hot shower, hall, kitchen and the allowance of fires.
Derek, Pam & June will make a appointment with the appropriate person who will take us around the site so that we can get some idea as to how this would work and to clear up some queries, ie would camper vans be allowed to stay on site? Where do we stand with first aid? And would we need our own public liability, also, traders licence, music, etc or do they have all that?

A.O.B.

Paul has been approched by Andrew Main and Kim Payne regarding a 5-10,000 people music event in MK in 2010.  To enquire whether the Bubbling Pot Committee would want to be involved.
It was suggested that Paul invite Andrew to our next meeting to discuss with us what this would involve.

Next Meeting  Thursday 9th July 2009.
